Readers, I tell you what. It is only Wednesday and it is already a BIG week for Miss America!

I am sure all of you know that my beloved Sam Haskell announced on Monday that the Miss America pageant will be aired on ABC this coming year, and for a few years to follow that.

BIG NEWS. BIG BIG NEWS. YOU GUYS.

Needless to say, I am thrilled at this news and I cannot wait to attend Miss America 2011. Who would have ever thought that little old me would be attending the Miss America pageant during an anniversary year, which ALSO happens to be the first year it is back on network television? It's going to be unforgettable!

It's so nice to have some good news circulating in the pageant circuit!

With the recent Miss USA scandal blowing around the airwaves and the Internet, I am very happy to focus on something positive. We're back on network television!

Now, of course, I am wondering who will host the pageant? I am a BIG fan of Mario Lopez as a host. I think he does such a great job and he is super charming. That being said, maybe ABC wants one of their actors or actresses to host the pageant? A fourpoints Facebook friend, Shelby Cohen, suggested Josh Holloway from LOST and I have to tell you, that sounds good to me. Or Matthew Fox?

Our 2010 Cover Model Carleigh Rowley is on - of course - the cover and she looks so lovely!

We have a great article about ARTISTRY products, including Caressa's favorites, in this issue and I think you will find it very helpful. It is so exciting to have one of Miss America's major partners right here in Grand Rapids with us! It was great working with ARTISTRY on this article and I am looking forward to working with them even more in the future.

We are gearing up for state pageant season, ad I am sure you are as well!

It is always exciting to welcome the new titleholders into the pageant family. And for the first time, Puerto Rico will take part in the Miss America's Outstanding Teen pageant - so there will be 53 OTs competing for the title this August.

Whew!
