Matt Poe - Editor in Chief
As Editor in Chief of all of our publications here at Serendipity, Matt Poe has a vast array of duties. In addition to writing and editing content, he organizes production schedules, works closely with our Art Director, and occasionally talks interns and freelancers off ledges. But don’t worry—he’s qualified. Matt has a B.A. in English and has received various awards for his writing, including the AP of Michigan Award in Sports Writing. He started his career in journalism literally from the bottom up, as a janitor for a local newspaper. It was there that he learned about the art of print journalism, and got his first break as a writer. Now he is the go-to guy when it comes to travel writing. In addition, he is a devoted family man and loves spending time with his wife, Amy, and his daughter, Megan.
